The journey will start on the 19 May, will pass 1018 places and will end its journey on the 27th of July 2012 for the opening ceremony.The whole distance covered will be around 8000 miles, in different places all around UK and it will have around 8000 torchbearers.
Olympic chair Sebastian Coe declared: “We originally started out by saying 95% of the population would be within an hour’s journey of the route – we now have that as within 10 miles.“
